Thinking-East's next issue will feature an article written by a Kyrgyz living in Istanbul, only being able to follow events from Istanbul:
However radical and unexpected Akaev’s ouster may seem, it stands in line with the velvet revolutions in the former Soviet Union, and in greater scale, conforms to the flow of history: discontented nations sooner or later overthrow their repressive authorities.
