Right, after Thinking-East’s weblog has ceased to be functional, I’ve decided to set up my own blog again.
Thinking-East will own blogs once we finished the relaunch. I’m sitting here at a good friend’s place, and hope to put up some new stuff asap.
In the meanwhile, be sure to check out the new Issue 3.0 – which Schwartz has meticulously crafted, bringing together some fine pieces of young journalism. My favourite is actually his mammoth Yair Auron interview. It has stirred some (mild) controversy for the mentioning of the Kurdish involvement in the Armenian genocide.
Issue Number 3.5, which I will be editing once more, will feature some interesting, mostly Central Asian stories. We’ll review the Tulip Revolution, the Andijon-crisis, the inauguration of the BTC pipeline, and many other things.
